AGE
Runners must be at least 12 years of age on the day of the race.
EXPERIENCE
Although the shortest race of the Great North Walk Ultras, 10 Kilometre runners will still need to cope with precipitous ascents and descents, muddy trails, and slippery rocks and roots. There are a number of sections where running is impossible. It is a tough physical challenge and participants are entirely responsible for ensuring they are prepared for the conditions and have the necessary fitness.

AGE CATEGORIES
There will be categories for 12-15, 16-18, Open (19-39), 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+ for Men and Women in all races.
